Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 12, 2026 · Effective immediately upon publication.

At HenFlux ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible from https://henflux.org, we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have in relation to your data when you use our website and online tools.

By using HenFlux, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of our website.

1. 1. Client-Side Processing & Your Files

The core design principle of HenFlux is client-side first processing. The vast majority of our tools — including image resizers, format converters, text editors, hash generators, and code formatters — process your files entirely inside your web browser using modern Web APIs (HTML5 Canvas, File API, Web Workers, Web Cryptography API).

This means your files (images, PDFs, text documents, code snippets) are never uploaded to our servers. They remain exclusively on your device throughout the entire processing operation. We have no access to, and no knowledge of, the contents of any files you process using our client-side tools.

2. 2. Server-Side Fallback Processing

In rare circumstances where your browser does not support the required Web APIs (such as older browsers or certain mobile environments), HenFlux may automatically trigger a server-side fallback to complete the processing operation.

When server-side processing is activated, the following strict data handling protocols apply:

  • Files are processed exclusively in volatile memory (RAM) and are never written to persistent disk storage.
  • Processing is executed in isolated, sandboxed threads with no cross-request data sharing.
  • All file data is immediately and permanently purged from memory upon completion of the processing request.
  • No file contents, metadata, filenames, or processing results are logged, cached, or stored in any form.

3. 3. Information We Collect

3.1 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit HenFlux, our web server automatically collects standard access log data, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, date and time of access, and general geographic location (country-level). This data is used solely for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and aggregated traffic analysis. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

3.2 Contact Form Submissions

If you submit a message through our Contact page, we collect and securely store the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, subject line, and message content. This data is stored in a private, non-web-accessible directory on our server and is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry. We never share, sell, or disclose this information to third parties.

3.3 User Preferences

HenFlux stores your interface preferences (such as selected theme and language) locally in your browser using cookies or localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

4. 4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. We do not use third-party analytics services that track individual user behavior. We do not integrate with social media tracking pixels or retargeting networks.

We may display non-intrusive advertisements through trusted ad networks. These ad partners may use their own cookies to serve relevant ads, but they do not have access to your files, processing data, or contact form submissions.

5. 5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data we process. All connections to HenFlux are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Server-side processing (when activated) uses isolated execution environments with strict access controls. Contact form submissions are protected by CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) tokens and stored in directories with access restrictions preventing web-based retrieval. While no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information.

6. 6. Children's Privacy

HenFlux does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data through the contact form, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.

7. 7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data from our systems.
  • Right to data portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through our Contact page. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.

8. 8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of HenFlux after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please reach out through our Contact page.
